What motivates you to train? – The fulfillment of finding new limits, breaking them, finding new limits again and the endless cycle that creates. The search for something more brought me into the sport of triathlon. The search to do something that was just for me, to define myself by something that had nothing to do with my career. Triathlon has given me that opportunity and so much more. It has changed my life.
Favorite Quote – I love so many quotes that this is really hard to pick just one. So, I have chosen two, one general and one sports related.

What advice do you have for new triathletes? Be present and in the moment during your races. We are so focused on finishing the swim to get to the bike and then finishing that to run that the entire race passes by without really enjoying it. This was some of the best advice I received before my first Ironman.
