What motivates you to train?  Improving my physical and mental health motivates me to train.  My workouts give me a feeling of accomplishment.  They give me a peace and strength that in turn, make me a better wife, a more effective parent and a happier person overall.  I love to train!

What advice do you have for new triathletes? Have a training plan and reflect on your training often by journaling or keeping record of key statistics.  When you see yourself improve in time and distance throughout the three disciplines, you will be motivated to continue on to meet your goals.
